Client Need and Concept

The client of this project needed a card to celebrate two special occasions: the 120th anniversary of the company and a book launch.  In order to honor the long history of the company, I used past and present images of the various locations where the company had been situated, and created a panoramic collage that appeared three-dimensional when the card was expanded.  After the event, the card would then serve as a souvenir for the guests, who could stand the card upright as a decorative piece.  To commemorate the book launch, a portion of the front of the card was devoted to the title graphics of the book.  This part would turn into the "spine" of the card when the panoramic collage was expanded, much like the spine of a book.
